The residency program is a key component of PAVILION NORDICO’s cultural activities. It gives Nordic and international creators the chance to spend up to one month in our historic villa in Buenos Aires, centrally located in the district of San Telmo. During their stay, residents can deepen and develop their creative practice in close exchange with local art and culture. The residency is open to up to 8 Nordic creators who work in any kind of creative or interdisciplinary context, such as visual, performing or sound art, writing, academia, activism, and even food art. Additional to the 8 spots for Nordic creators, 2 special-interest spots will be open to international creators who work in the fields of “socially & politically engaged art” and “environment & art”. The residents are selected from an open call by a high-profile jury of international art professionals.
The open call for residency applications will be published on January 24th.
